We are regularly on the search for labourers to work within our Grounds Maintenance and Trees Maintenance teams across a number of locations across our City, so are calling for expressions of interest for current and future opportunities.

About the positions
Typically working within small crews and led by a crew leader, our parks teams work together to keep the City of Moreton Bay in optimal condition for the community to use and enjoy.
The Grounds Maintenance teams are engaged in the operational maintenance of areas such as Councils open greenspaces, parks and nature strips. Our teams do this by undertaking general labouring tasks such as mowing, mulching, weeding, pruning, blowing and planting as well as other landscaping duties necessary to complete the task at hand.
The Trees teams look after the maintenance of our tree assets across City of Moreton Bay. The tasks and duties of this position will involve manual handling/labouring work, branch clearing, operation of equipment (where licenced and trained to do so) as required for the tasks.
Within both the Trees and Grounds Maintenance teams you will be engaging with stakeholders from other teams within Council or even members of the public, so effective communication and a positive attitude towards teamwork is a must!
About you
Ideally you will have demonstrated recent and relevant experience performing similar tasks. You must also have a current truck licence (minimum class – MR) and either currently hold or be willing to obtain a Construction Induction Card prior to commencement.
