The Parent Pathways Mentor collaborates with local community and government services to deliver customised, family-focused support. What You Need to Bring:

  • Educational Background:
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Services (such as Social Work, Education, Youth Work, or Employment Services) or equivalent experience in a similar role is desirable. Specific qualifications or training in working with families facing multiple and complex needs in community or employment services.
  • Essential Certifications:
  • Child Safe Environments and RAN-EC qualification. A current Child Safe Environments certificate. Mandatory Checks: Current DHS Working with Children Check. Current DHS NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Professional Experience:
  • Experience in human services setting, with a solid understanding of various intervention models. Proven track record in providing case management services to young people and/or families. Experience working with marginalised individuals, including expertise in case planning and complex case management.
  • Key Skills and Commitment:
  • A strong commitment to the principles of social inclusion and quality management. Excellent community engagement skills, including networking, negotiation, mediation, and public relations. Knowledge of, or experience in, educational and vocational areas. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and database management.
