We are currently recruiting for experienced painters and brush hands for on-site work based in Rutherford.
Our client is one of Australia’s largest construction companies specialising in modular buildings.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting
- Covering exposed objects and surfaces
- Mixing and applying paints and sealants to the interior and exterior or refurbished demountable classrooms
- Working as part of a team
- Reporting to site management and ensuring safety protocols are followed
Candidate Requirements:
- Trade certificate in Painting & Decorating or a minimum 1 year experience as brush hand
- Ability to work as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to work 38 hours a week with potential for overtime
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a drug and alcohol test
