About the AusPac Graduate Program

We are excited to invite applications for our Graduate Program, commencing in February .

As a graduate, youll be part of a two-year program featuring:
   Structured 2-Year Program Two 12-month rotations across AusPac operations;

About the Graduate Blasting Technical Services opportunities

As a Graduate Blasting Engineer, you will have the opportunity to rotate through a variety of Technical Services teams to make a tangible impact on our day-to-day operations.  

Your graduate program will include:
   A significant period on site as a part of a blast crew to learn the practical, hands-on aspects of blasting;
   Experience providing customers with product stewardship of electronic blasting systems, wireless blasting systems and bulk explosive delivery systems;
   Formal in-class learning with from industry experts to develop deep understanding of blasting concepts, blast design skills, and explosive product knowledge;
   Contribute to project teams delivering explosive product implementations, blast performance & design optimisation, and innovative technology trials;
   Shadowing a senior Technical Service Engineer to gain invaluable exposure to project management, technical investigations and specialist blasting engineering skills;
   Travel to remote customer sites within the region to support operations and build strong customer relationships.

   Open-cut Metalliferous
   Open-pit Coal
   Underground Metalliferous

As such our graduate positions supports re-location to our technical hubs:
   Adelaide, SA
   Brisbane, QLD
   Kalgoorlie, WA
   Mackay, QLD
   Newcastle, NSW
   Perth, WA

What you will bring:

Youre studying or have recently completed a degree in:
   Mining, Civil Engineering
   Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or Earth Science related Disciplines
   Mechanical or other Engineering related degrees

Graduation year: or
Degree level: Bachelors, Postgraduate, or Masters

Location & Support

Your first rotation will be based at Mackay, QLD.
Future rotations may include other exciting locations across AusPac (to be confirmed).
