ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Operations Support Coordinator, you will work directly with the Shutdown & Maintenance team and other business unit stakeholders to ensure projects and administration support is delivered in line with business objectives.  Your role is to provide ongoing support by developing continuous improvement processes, gathering information for Shutdown reporting and assisting with setting up our execution team for success. 

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Gathering and tracking deliverables in line with client and contract timeframes.
  • Providing support for the preparation of front-end reporting documentation.
  • Organising post shutdown meetings with Managers and Superintendents, including recording minutes & tracking actions.
  • Managing the continuous improvement process within the Operations department
  • Maintaining systems and processes to support the ongoing success and compliance of the shutdown team. This can include continuous improvement, personnel evaluations, calendar management, data & record keeping.
  • Supporting the execution team with final KPI deliverables and preparation of the required reporting.
  • Assisting with training and development of Site Administrator roles.
  • Supporting reoccurring meetings with Senior Leaders, taking minute and track actions.
  • Provide division specific business updates as required.
  • In unison with Shutdown managers, assist with monitoring social values in line with business objectives.
  • Proactively build and maintain effective internal key stakeholder relationships.

 ABOUT YOU

  • Relevant administration experience in a similar role preferably within the mine, plant and infrastructure construction industry or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Eager to learn and master new operating systems as required.
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills.
