Onboard Site Coordinator

Join us on a 9 month max term as an experienced Onboard Site Coordinator based out of Perth-Pilbara, Western Australia while delivering on a 8:6 day shift FIFO roster. Projects will include BHP. As Site Coordinator you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of Onboard testing site activities (inbound, outbound) and ensuring compliance with Alstom’s test and commissioning procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder management and collaboration with Engineers, Project Managers, and Contractors to ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are executed efficiently and effectively. You will also supervise and lead the on board team, manage documentation, liaises with stakeholders and provide updates to relevant parties.

  • Implement detailed plans for the testing and commissioning phases of rail projects.
  • Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and contractors to ensure all testing and commissioning activities are executed efficiently and effectively.
  • Supervise and lead the testing team, providing technical guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage the documentation of testing and commissioning activities, including test procedures, results, and final commissioning reports.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to secure necessary approvals and certifications.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of testing and commissioning activities to project management and other relevant parties.
  • Maintain effective communications towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Drive consistency in process, systems & data
  • Team management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Trade Qualification Electrical or Mechanical
  • Cert IV in Management or higher
  • Must hold an open driving license
  • Demonstrated Senior experience in Supervision management across the railway industry
  • Working experience in testing and commissioning in a FIFO environment
