Night Shift Production Team Leader / Supervisor

About the Role

AWX are currently seeking a motivated Night Shift Team Leader / Supervisor to oversee a well-known organic food manufacturer located in Coolum Beach. This company produces premium-quality herbs, spices, teas, and coffee products – all 100% organic!

Key Details

• Location: Coolum Beach, QLD

• Pay Rate: $ per hour (casual rate) – Dependant on Experience

• Shifts: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 pm – 12 pm with the potential start of a Friday shift in the near future

• Role Focus: Supervising and leading a small team across production, packing, and processing operations

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising staff across tea, herb, spice, and coffee production areas

• Coordinating machine operators, packers, and processors to meet production targets

• Providing hands-on support with machine operation, packing, and processing tasks as required

• Training, guiding, and mentoring team members to achieve quality and efficiency standards

• Ensuring adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety procedures

• Monitoring workflow, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive team culture

What We’re Looking For

• Previous leadership, supervisory, or team leader experience in a food manufacturing or production environment

• Strong background in machine operation and/or production processes

• Ability to lead by example in a hands-on, fast-paced environment

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills

• Reliability and a positive, team-focused attitude

• Local candidates preferred
