Your new role
As an expert, you’ll drive global network improvements and future planning. Collaborate with team members and vendors, leveraging your expertise and communication skills for successful global initiatives. For this youll also:
- Review current network and security controls to create an update and improvement roadmap.
- Plan and execute prioritized projects from the review.
- Develop network documentation and diagrams to enhance knowledge for future planning.
- Analyze data and collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements for the next global network stage.
- Define and plan the approach for the next network iteration.
What you’ll need to succeed
A strong consulting mindset, communication skills, and hands-on technical ability are essential for this role. Youll also need:
- Extensive expertise in networking, including SD-WAN, SASE, and emerging networking and complementary technologies.
- Strong technical and business analysis skills in IT and OT networking within a complex mining environment.
- Excellent written documentation and communication skills, catering to all levels from shop floor to IT/OT technical and management.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and technical designs.
- Proven ability in project delivery and consulting, effectively managing stakeholders and meeting expectations.
- Ensure operational processes are well-documented and transitioned smoothly.
- Collaborate closely with IT teams both locally and internationally to achieve critical business and IT outcomes.
