NDIS MENTOR ALBANY Looking for a rewarding job with purpose? Are you interested in mentoring people with disabilities, one on one? You will be working in a unique purpose built workshop mentoring participants of all abilities to learn skills in woodwork, metal work, small motors and other hands on learning activities.
Or discover employment opportunities that are meaningful to the participant you are working with.
You will be working alongside employers and staff to support the participant to work successfully towards applying for job opportunities that may arise, and to support the participant in the job role and also in our workplace simulated environment.
WorklinkWA are looking for multiple mentors who have experience in a trades workshop environment.

Your job role would be to support participants with disabilities to learn hands on skills in a safe, friendly and encouraging environment.

Monday to Friday working week, each day will vary depending on participants engagement/NDIS goals.
Duties include but are not limited to: • Supporting participants to learn new skills in wood work, metal work, welding, painting, cooking, leisure activities, life skills and transport of participants About you: We are looking for energetic, fun, hands on approachable mentors to join our team to continue to support our participants through their NDIS goals.
• You must have a C class driver’s license Prior to commencing employment with WorklinkWA you will need to obtain: • Police clearance • Working with children check • NDIS workers screening check • Provide First Aid training How to apply: Please submit the following: • A cover letter briefly describing why you are interested in this role • A current resume outlining your education, skills, knowledge and experience.
