About Our Client

WorkPac are proud to partner with our client, a leading global provider of commercial explosives and blasting systems. We are currently seeking MPU Trainees to join their team in the Hunter Valley region. This is a great opportunity for individuals wanting to kickstart a long-term career in the mining and explosives industry.

What you will be doing

• Assisting in the operation of Mobile Processing Units (MPU) on mine sites
• Supporting blast crew with safe and timely delivery of bulk explosives
• Following all safety procedures and site protocols
• Participating in training to obtain necessary licenses and competencies

What you will need

• Current C Class Drivers Licence
• Ability to pass a 043 Coal Board Medical and regular drug and alcohol testing
• Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to learn

Must be willing to obtain at own cost:

• HR Truck Licence
• UHL (Explosives) Licence
