Mobile Crushing & Screening HD Fitter

Your new company

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our Mobile Crushing & Screening Maintenance team. In this role, you will carry out preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance on a fleet of mobile crushers and screens, with a strong focus on Terex Finlay, Metso, and McCloskey crushing equipment. Duties include diagnostics, component change-outs, inspections and ensuring all mobile crushing plant is maintained to the highest operational and safety standards.

Your new role

• Service, maintain and repair mobile crushing & screening equipment, including Terex Finlay tracked crushers and screens.
• Perform diagnostics and faultfinding on mobile crushers, screens, conveyors and associated systems.
• Breakdown response and scheduled maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain and repair Metso crushing components, ensuring equipment reliability and safe operation.
• Service McCloskey equipment, including J50 jaw crushers, impactors and cone crushers, known for high-performance mobile crushing.
• Carry out daily inspections, safety checks and ensure all maintenance activities meet WHS compliance.
• Liaise with supervisors and operators to identify issues and recommend improvements.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Australian-recognised Mechanical Trade qualification (HD Fitter / Mechanical Fitter).
• Proven experience working on mobile crushing plants, preferably Terex Finlay.
• Strong knowledge of mobile jaw, cone and impact crushers, including McCloskeys J50 and I44 series.
• Familiarity with Metso crushing systems, including mechanical troubleshooting, component repairs and field service tasks.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, diagnostics, and plant schematics.
• High-level fault-finding, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Valid Drivers Licence, White Card, Working at Heights (highly desirable)
