We are a well-established and progressive mixed practice veterinary clinic in the west Gippsland region. We are a ten-vet practice with an excellent work culture. We enjoy what we do and are proud of our team and the services we provide to the local community.
We are in the exciting position of being a growing clinic and are looking for a new vet to join our team to help support this growth and provide a high standard of care to our companion and farm animals alike.
Warragul is in a fantastic location with the benefits of a regional town only 1 hour to Melbourne and the coast.

About the position:
- Our case load is approx. 60% small animal, 40% livestock (70% dairy, 20% beef, 10% hobby-farmer). The position mix can be tailored to your particular interests around this.
- Full time position worked as a nine-day fortnight
- After hours requirements are one night per week and one in four weekends
- Tele-triage after-hours service to help filter after hours calls
- Team dynamic is very supportive with wide skill set amongst the existing vets
- Very experienced large animal vets who do consultancy work to learn from
About you:
We are looking for positive individuals who are capable of working efficiently and conscientiously within a team environment. Our team is very supportive and enjoy learning from each other. With a large team, good communication skills are a must! Our ideal candidate will be a people-person as we strive to excel in client interactions and communication. The successful applicants will immediately fit in and feel at home in our happy workplace.
What we can offer:
- Salary range offered is dependent on skills and experience however a vet with well-established mixed practice skills can expect $75,000 super. Experienced vets salary is dependent on experience- contact us to discuss your expectations.
