WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Conduct regular inspections of work areas for hazards, damage, and defects.
Inspect critical areas of the Open Pit Heavy Mining Equipment fleet to prevent potential failures and breakdowns.
Execute planned maintenance and servicing tasks efficiently.
Estimate time and materials needed for repairs, and raise orders accordingly.
Perform repairs on the Heavy Mining Equipment fleet as necessary.
Regularly inspect tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
Responsibly manage costs, minimizing rework and unnecessary use of parts and services.
Review work tasks for opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain open communication with direct supervisor and team members.

ABOUT YOU

At least 2 years of Boilermaking/welding experience, ideally with mobile fleets. (Essential)
Trade qualified with MEM Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication or equivalent certificate. (Essential)
Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Drivers Licence (Essential).
Previous experience with digger booms and bucket repairs (Essential).
Basic understanding of the following machines: CAT 777F, 789D , 775F Trucks CAT 16M, 18M Graders CAT D10T Dozers Hitachi EX , EX , EX Excavators Komatsu PC Excavators
