WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an LV Fitter, you will maintain and repair the Norton Operations Light Vehicle and Bus fleets safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all statutory and safety regulations. Working as an integral part of the Maintenance Department, youll actively collaborate with personnel across all departments.

• Maintain and repair the light vehicle and bus fleets safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety standards.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and complete scheduled servicing across all LV and bus assets.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles, tools, and work areas to identify and address hazards, defects, and maintenance needs.
• Estimate job requirements, manage parts ordering, and control costs to avoid rework and unnecessary expenses.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and teams, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in maintenance practices.

ABOUT YOU

• At least 2 years of experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic in the Mining Industry or similar. (Essential)
• Trade qualified with AUR Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent. (Essential)
• Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class C Drivers Licence (Essential)
• An Automotive A/C Licence (Desirable)
• Strong commitment to safety and a team player.
