The Employment Opportunity:

This position is ideally suited to motivated individuals who are looking to get into mining. We are looking for recently qualified automotive electricians or communications technicians OR candidates who already have a lot of experience who want to apply their skills in a new industry.

The role is based on site at an open pit coal mine and you will be servicing and maintaining a range of systems like CCTV, Wireless Communications, Radio, Electrical systems associated with mining equipment monitoring etc.

This role is located in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales which is a desirable place to live as you will have access to the coast, jobs the country / vineyard areas. If you’re looking to get ahead financially and secure your future then this is the path forward. 

Requirements:

• Electrical / Automotive Electrical trade certificate or communications technician related qualification
• Valid Australia driver’s license
• Australian Working Rights
• Excellent communication skills
• Have completed an apprenticeship or have at least 2 or 3 years of transferrable experience in areas like CCTV, Wireless communication systems, Radios, Electrical Maintenance etc.
