The Opportunity

Reporting to the Metallurgy Superintendent and working on an 8/6 roster, you will assist in recovery improvement initiatives and provide technical support across site. 

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing metallurgical support for the team.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and calibrations.
  • Collecting and preparing samples from the processing plant.
  • Carrying out lab scale test work, such as bench scale flotation tests and sieve sizing.
  • Helping identify and develop metallurgical improvement projects.

What is Required?

Our preferred candidates will have prior experience within metallurgical environments in the Mining sector.

Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products.
  • While not essential, previous experience in using Outotec OSA and PSI instruments would be beneficial.
