Engineering Trades Australia are currently recruiting Mechanical Fitters for a steady pipeline of work across shutdowns and projects throughout the Bowen Basin, North QLD, and the Northern Territory.

Opportunities Available:
  • CHPP shutdowns, fixed plant, and site-based maintenance
  • Variety of rosters including 4/4, 7/7, 2/1 12hr shifts
  • Both short-term and long-term engagements
  • Opportunities for local, DIDO, and regional applicants
  • Ongoing work with repeat shutdowns and project mobilisation

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification
  • White Card Construction Induction
  • Confined Space (RIIWHS202E) valid
  • Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E) valid
  • Coal Board Medical & S11 – Highly advantageous
  • Willingness to complete pre-shutdown training where required
