We are currently looking for qualified Mechanical Fitters that want to build a lucrative career in the mining industry and secure a role with our Lake Macquarie based underground operation Myuna Colliery.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include

• Maintenance and repairs of underground equipment and machinery
• Fitting, installation and commissioning of new equipment and mechanical plant on site
• Above ground maintenance activities as required

Suitable candidates will have

• Certificate III Engineering Mechanical
• Drivers license
• Excellent work ethic and attendance record
• Commitment to site safety, operational practices, and mine production targets
• Previous experience in an similar underground mining role preferred but not essential
