Mechanical Fitter – 2:1 FIFO roster

Engineering Trades Australia are actively seeking Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters for an ongoing 2:1 roster at a gold site just outside Newman! This role has high potential of transitioning into a permanent position for the right person! 
Our client is seeking someone who has extensive experience working on Gold Processing plants on a maintenance roster. They work in small crews, so you must be able to work independently – therefore extensive knowledge in Gold Processing equipment is essential! 
What are we looking for? 

• You must have proven experience working on a long-term maintenance roster on gold sites – Not shutdowns!
• Experience working on – Jaw Crushers, Cone Crushers, Vibrating Screens, Conveyors, Magnet Belts, Mill lube systems, Slurry Pumps, Valves, Staging Pumps, Concentrators, Apron Feeders
• Candidates who have Australian PR or Citizenship

Details about the role:

• Location: Close to Newman
• MOB to site: ASAP
• Roster: 2:1 ongoing Dayshift only
• Rates: $70ph flat
• 11 hours paid per day
• Temp to Perm opportunity for the right person!
• FIFO from Perth ONLY!
• Meals and Accommodation provided at camp!
• Weekly pay – Every Friday!
• One point of contact at ETA!

What you will need to be successful in the role: 

• Experience on the equipment listed above.
• Gold site Maintenance experience
• Australian Trade Certificate
• Clean Police clearance
• Working at Heights & Confined Spaces – Within 2 years
• White card
• HRWL – Advantageous
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
• Must be residing in Australia with full working rights to be considered.
