Mechanical Engineer (Reliability)

Golding is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer (Reliability) to join our team on site at the Meandu Mine Project. Reporting to the Specialist Mechanical Engineer , this role responsible for improving the performance, availability, and reliability of mining assets through the application of reliability engineering principles, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The successful incumbent will be passionate about improving asset performance, solving complex equipment issues, and using data-driven insights to drive reliability outcomes. They will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This position operates on a 9 day fortnight.  Locals are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely reports, schedules, and plans in line with site maintenance requirements.
• Analyse equipment performance (productivity and reliability) and provide actionable recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the authorised maintenance plan and suggest improvements.
• Review maintenance and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Actively contribute to business improvement initiatives as a collaborative team member.

About You

• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven technical engineering capability in a similar environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and results-focused.
