Meat Processing Labourer (Cold Storage)

Our client is one of Melbourne’s leading Meat Processing Facilities, located in Knoxfield and Dandenong. They are on the hunt for a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to join their growing team on the Day and Night shifts.

About the role:

• Stacking cartons on Pallets
• Use of Tugger
• Follow safety protocols and procedures
• Maintain cleanliness in the production area
• Working in cold conditions (cold storage rooms)
• Working with packaged meats and food products
• Support team members in various tasks

Requirements:


In order to establish your career within this space, you must:

• Have availability for work, Monday-Friday or Sunday-Thursday
• Have access to reliable transport and a valid Australian Driver’s licence
• Be comfortable and able to work in Cold storage (experience working in this environment is highly desirable)
• Must be comfortable and able to work with packaged meat products
• Be reliable, committed, punctual, willing to learn and have a positive attitude
• Be able to adapt to a fast-paced physical role with a focus on safety and quality
• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
