As the Manager Strategic Change and Communications for Qantas Group Disruptions Transformation, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Group is fully prepared to implement significant transformation initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Readiness, you will be responsible for business readiness strategies that enable the organisation to embrace change, mitigate risks, and effectively transition initiatives into long-term operational capability. This role requires a strong focus on strategic planning, communications, and stakeholder engagement to ensure transformation initiatives are successfully embedded across the business.
Working within cross-functional project teams, you will drive collaboration across various stakeholders, ensuring alignment on legal, industrial relations, risk, and compliance requirements. You will standardise change management delivery processes, challenge stakeholders to drive key outcomes, and proactively develop policies that support transformation. Your ability to influence, coordinate, and manage change will be essential in achieving business readiness objectives and ensuring a seamless transition to post-go-live operational stability.
You’ll have –
- 7 years of experience, including 3 years in senior executive leadership within a large, complex matrix organisation.
- Proven ability to support product business readiness or formulate strategic Change Management plans for complex customer projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience formulating and leading large scalechange and communications strategy across multiple business units and managing diverse stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of operations, commercial strategies, and customer-focused transformation.
- Strong understanding of financial, customer, technological, and business considerations to drive informed decision-making.
- Strong people skills, familiarity with strategic change management frameworks, and ability to align culture with business strategy.
- Advanced ability to interpret data, drive business decisions, and navigate complex challenges in a fast-paced environment.
