About the role

The Manager – Sourcing manages the execution of end-to-end sourcing activities including the development of the regional sourcing strategy in line with the global sourcing to deliver sustainable value creation outcomes that support category management principles, mitigate supply risks and meet or exceed business requirements and liaises with relevant stakeholders to update them on the progress of sourcing activities and oversees embedment and regional compliance to Group Mandates, standard and procedures.

What you will be doing

Key Accountabilities Generates and implements sourcing strategies aligned with the category strategy Executes end-to-end sourcing process ensuring the outcomes meet or exceed business requirements and are fully aligned with Group Standards Prepares, distributes, collates and analyses RFx processes Develops negotiation strategies to ensure Oricas position is commercially and legally strong and will deliver the best outcome Anticipates changes in the sourcing landscape and update the negotiation strategies to suit it Conducts scenario, should cost, benchmark and/or other types of analysis Feedbacks to the Site and/or Global counterparts on market intelligence and insights to support the periodic update of the category strategy Facilitates cross-functional multi-level engagements Supports Regional embedment of Sourcing strategy and group standards and processes and ensure overall regional aligned to same.

What you will bring

Studies:

*Completed studies in Industrial Engineering or related fields.

Work experience:

* Minimum 8 years experience post professional qualification, including 5 years of direct people management experience.

*Experience in procurement sourcing.

*Experience with contracts and purchasing of raw materials.

*Experience in bidding processes (contracts in mining or chemical industries).

Skills:
* Proven ability to lead a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations of the workstream.

*Experience leading high-performance global teams.

* Experience in implementing process improvement initiatives would be desirable.
* Financial accumen & budgeting experience.

Languages:

Proficiency in English.

Knowledge of Spanish (desirable).
