Our Mount Magnet Mining (MMG) operations include multiple open pit, underground, and satellite sites with a projected 17-year mine life. The processing plant at Mt Magnet is currently undergoing a A$223M expansion and upgrade to an initial 4.3Mtpa capacity, with construction expected to be completed in the September quarter.
The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this is a front-line leadership role, responsible for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities within the Processing Plant and other select assets at Mt Magnet.

The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this is a front-line leadership role, responsible for the safe and efficient execution of maintenance activities within the Processing Plant and other select assets at Mt Magnet.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver maintenance plans safely and on schedule.
- Supervise multiple trades, apprentices and contractors, allocating daily work based on priority and skill.
- Lead breakdown response and support root cause analysis to prevent repeat failures.
- Maintain work order discipline in Pronto and ensure accurate close-out and planner feedback.
- Coordinate shutdown tasks within approved scope and cost.
- Work closely with Production and Planning to optimise maintenance windows and minimise downtime.
- Lead by example in safety and statutory compliance.
About You
Were looking for a practical, hands-on leader with excellent plant maintenance experience and organisational skills who enjoys working in a dynamic mining environment.
Youll also bring:
- Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical or Fabrication (Trade Qualification).
- Schedule 26 Statutory Supervisor accreditation.
- Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance of gold processing plants.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Exposure to Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), preferably Pronto.
- Working knowledge of the Work Health and Safety Act and associated Regulations.
