Maintenance Supervisor- Civil

Iron Mine Contracting are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Civil Maintenance teams.
Your Role:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to supervise both IMC Maintenance employees & Contractors.


Responsibilities

• Supervises maintenance workers and contractors.
• Organises and leads maintenance training.
• Sets the shift schedule and assignments.
• Assists with maintenance policies and procedures.
• Orders tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Responds to maintenance requests.
• Makes sure projects stay on schedule.
• Leads safety inspections at worksites.
• Performs maintenance work as needed.
• Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions.
• Ensures the team follows all company policies and procedures.
• Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

About you:

• Experienced leader in a similar role
• 3 years experience, knowledge, and understanding of Maintenance roles & requirements
• Trade Certificate – Mechanical
• Valid Manual drivers Licence
• Able to successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment medical including drug screen
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
