About the Role:

Our Client is Australia’s leading independent manufacturer and supplier of concrete reinforcing products to the building and construction industry, and are now seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their growing team

What You Will Be Doing: Work

  • Safely and efficiently operate machinery such as Off Coil, Shearline, and Bending Machines.
  • Maintain high-quality standards and consistent production output.
  • Handle the operation of cranes, machinery, and the loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Conduct prestart checks on all plant and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Set up machines and apply quality control inspections prior to and during machine operation.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.

What You Will Need:

  • Experience operating cranes, machinery, and loading trucks.
  • Previous experience in Reinforcing Steel is desirable but not essential.
  • Background in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • A safety-conscious attitude with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willingness to undertake training for crane operations.
