The Opportunity
SEE Group have a great career opportunity available for a Light Vehicle Coordinator to join our highly professional and skilled professional and skilled Fleet and Logistic team.
This is a diverse and fast-paced role to coordinate all actions throughout the life cycle of our light vehicle assets and to provide administrative and operational support to the fleet team under the direction of the Operations Support Manager. The role also requires the person to assist the Operations Support Manager in the maintenance of quality assurance procedures.
This is a Full-time role based predominantly in Yatala.
Responsibilities
• Monitor light vehicle usage through the Maintenance System for the purpose of defect management and scheduled servicing.
• Coordinate service bookings as required and communicate with vehicle custodians.
• Coordinate and allocate light vehicles to employees in accordance with the vehicle management policy. This includes sourcing hired vehicles if allocation is not available through owned assets.
• Review and provide feedback on future light vehicle demand for the business (12 months in advance).
• Manage various systems for the acquisition and disposal of new light vehicles.
• Manage toll and fuel card accounts and process end-of-month invoices based on allocations recorded in Viewpoint.
• Maintain organization of the spare keys and assign or order replacement keys as required.
• Ensure currency of registration, CTP and insurance for all road registered assets (with the exclusion of conditionally registered mobile plant).
• Ensure timely processing of light and heavy vehicle inspections and registrations, and maintain updates in the ERP system, Viewpoint.
Essential Skills and Attributes
• A high attention to detail
• The ability to multi-task and manage competing demands
• Ability to exercise mature judgement, discretion and confidentiality
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a similar role (Desirable)
• Experience in fleet management (Desirable)
