About the Role


Lead a small team on-site for piling and structural installations on a major Kiwirail project in Brynderwyn. This role requires living away from home Monday to Friday, with a paid living-away allowance.

Additional bridge projects near Palmerston North are available (6 weeks each), with travel on a 2-week rotation. Flights and a tax-free food allowance are provided.

This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Duties
• Lead and support a team of 2 on-site

• Install piles and structural steel

• Set up temporary bridge supports

• Ensure safety and quality standards

• Liaise with site supervisors

Skills & experience


• Proven piling experience (essential)

• Slinging and lifting certification

• EWP license (advantageous)

• Strong leadership on-site

• Civil or rail project experience
