THE ROLE

         Coordinating daily activities for planned and unplanned maintenance.

         Supervision of tradespersons and mobile maintenance activities

         Provide feedback to Maintenance Supervisors regarding job details, timeframes and work methods

         Take appropriate action to eliminate workplace hazards.

         Mentor team members to create a safe and efficient work environment.

WHAT DO I NEED

         Current C Class Manual Western Australian drivers licence

         Valid and relevant trade qualifications, certificates, and licences

         Previous experience in a Leading Hand role

         Experience working on Heavy Underground Machinery & Drills

         5 years in underground mining as a minimum with safety as a number one priority

         Be competent in diagnostics & repairs of diesel, electric, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

         Minimum 5 years experience working underground

         Experience working with CAT Trucks, Loaders, graders, ITs, Sandvik Drills, Volvo Its & Normet Charge Wagon

         Experience maintaining air conditioning (desirable)

         Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)

         Experience with CAT Et Sis Systems (desirable)

         Be able to mentor and train Maintenance personnel

         Exceptional diagnostic and fault finding skills

         Proficient Microsoft office skills

         Excellent communication skills

         A can-do, team-oriented attitude

         Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
