We are seeking a Labourer to join a well-established local company that specialises in Project Management, Fit Outs, Alterations, Renovations, and Maintenance for both private and government clients across the ACT region. The company works with both private and government sectors, ensuring the delivery of top-tier services to clients in residential, commercial, and government properties.
About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working Labourer to support our team on various construction and maintenance projects across the ACT. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a range of tasks while working alongside experienced professionals. The role includes the use of company vehicles while on site.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with various construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and general site maintenance.
  • Operate tools and machinery under supervision to support site works.
  • Help with the setup and cleaning of the worksite and assist with the delivery and removal of materials.
  • Support other workers on site as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OHS policies and procedures.
Skills & Experience
  • Full driver’s licence and reliable transport required.
  • Experience in labouring roles within the construction or trade industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Willingness to learn and develop your skills.
