About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Chemical or Process Engineer to join our team in Dandenong as a Laboratory and Process Technician. This role is ideal for recent graduates or those at the beginning of their technical careers who are eager to grow and learn in a supportive environment. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, from assisting in maintaining laboratory quality management systems to hands-on technical testing on our product to QA and Technical support.
We value a flexible mindset and the ability to connect with others, as well as a willingness to prove yourself through dedication and hard work. This is a great opportunity to work with a team, have cross functional collaboration and support our other brands at Fletcher Insulation. Ideally you will have exposure to building log lasting & trusting relationships with internal and external stake holders.
Ideal Skills & Attributes
Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
Experience in Statistical Process Control
Exposure to quality control in a laboratory or manufacturing process environment
Confident in following and adhering to all EHS requirements
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
Advanced teamwork and communication skills
Problem-solving and analytical abilities
Commitment to quality management and continuous improvement
Proactive and motivated with a willingness to take on challenges
Competent in using MS Excel and other computer skills
