Join our team for the Kiwifruit Season
Were on the hunt for energetic and enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the Kiwifruit season! From March to August, youll play a key role in moving, storing, and loading export kiwifruit pallets onto vessels at the port. This is a fantastic opportunity to get a foot in the door to the Port Logistics Industry with full training provided and career progression opportunities available across the Qube network.
Status: Were hiring for both day and night shifts which are typically 12 hours long.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Operating pedestrian pallet trucks to stow kiwifruit pallets in ship holds.
- Scanning pallets, and performing general loading duties.
- Maintaining radio communication and teamwork.
- Working in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
No Experience? No Problem!
- We provide full training, so all you need is:
- The right attitude.
- Willingness to learn.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks in a busy port environment.
- A focus on safety and a can-do mindset.
- Minimum restricted class 1 Driver License and your own reliable transport.
In-person interviews will commence in late January, with season preparation starting in February. Candidates must pass pre-employment medicals and drug testing, ACC, and MOJ checks, and be eligible to work in NZ.
