What is the opportunity?
PRC have a position for a Junior Medical Receptionist to join the clerical team in a permanent full-time capacity! You will work across our Armadale Hospital and brand-new Armadale North clinic, Monday to Friday. Our Clerical team will set you up for success by providing comprehensive training for the first 8 weeks and ongoing support.
Reporting to the Clerical Supervisor, your responsibilities will included:
- Attends to inter-clinic phone to screen calls and direct calls where necessary.
- Liaises between front desk staff, technicians and doctors and follows up on requests and enquiries
- Print, scan and maintain consent forms
- Greet and arrives patients at the front desk
- Chaperones medical imaging procedures as required
- Ensures reception waiting room and kitchen is well maintained and tidy
- Arrange refreshments for Doctors
- Carefully handle confidential documents (e.g. referrals and patient details)
- Check incomplete list for outstanding reports or reports not verified
What do you need to be considered?
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience in a fast-paced working environment
- Professionally presented and an approachable manner
- Great communication skills and able to liaise with stakeholders while upholding professional email & phone manner
- Confident with navigating around computers and able to learn new software systems/database
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to provide a National Police Check within 6 months or willing to obtain
