Junior Bid Writer

Brian Perry Civil (BPC) has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Bid Writer to join our New Business Team.
As a Bid Writer, youll have a natural passion for writing, along with strong communication skills to create persuasive proposals. High attention to detail and effective time management is essential and will help you meet tight tender deadlines. Youll enjoy collaborating with others and have a willingness to learn about the construction industry. If you have photography or graphic design skills, youll also have the chance to put these to good use.
This is a junior role, and you will have the full support of the team to develop your construction knowledge and bid writing abilities. Your creative flair and passion for the written word will help you excel in this position, offering a unique and rewarding career path.

Duties/responsibilities include:
  • Development of Written Content for Bids/Tenders: This includes collating content, researching and writing project examples, creating compelling and tailored CVs to showcase employee experience, and reviewing customer-supplied documentation while responding to feedback.
  • Assisting in Developing Key Messages and Tools: Support the Bid/Submissions Manager in creating style guides and storyboards, identifying potential win themes, facilitating internal workshops, and developing tools to enhance communication.
  • Proposal and Administration Production: Assist with the document review process, assemble all submission deliverables, and conduct reviews, editing, and proofreading of final content.
  • Supporting Tender Submissions: Collate and develop response documents while assisting the wider business in preparing additional documentation, including award submissions for projects and individuals, event collateral, social media updates, business case documents, and presentations.
  • Management and Maintenance of the Bid Library.
