ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Procurement Officer at Norton Gold Fields, you will engage with internal/ external stakeholders to provide expertise that support strategic business objectives, including but not limited to expediting, logistics, contract management, procurement activities, and category management.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Preparing and distributing tender documentation and purchase orders for high-value items.
Overseeing the evaluation of bids and ensuring orders align with specifications.
Ensuring timely delivery by coordinating with logistics companies.
Identifying cost-effective procurement strategies without compromising quality.
Building strong supplier relationships to maximize business contributions.
Providing vital support for the Binduli project and coordinating spare parts delivery.
Any other duties as required.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Experience in a similar role, preferably within the resources sector.
Qualification in Commerce or relevant field is highly regarded.
Experience using Pronto is highly regarded.
Competent user of MS office suite and other relevant supply chain software and applications.
Ability and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
