The Opportunity
Reporting into the Applications & Data Manager, the IT Business Partner will partner with a range of business and IT stakeholders globally to define and develop Sigmas framework with the goal to deliver maximised benefits to the customer.
Your key role as a business partner will see you partner closely with the Operations & Supply Chain teams, in addition to Customer Service, Manufacturing, Finance and Supply Chain business functions to identify their needs, devise solutions and help drive end-to-end understanding that will enable them to engage with strategic programs and strengthen BAU processes.
What youll do
- Establish strong partnerships and collaborate to ensure current & future business processes are adequately mapped with the essential systems, infrastructure, and support
- Manage the relationship and messaging with business functions to promote two-way communication and engagement with IT strategies, initiatives, and policies
- Conduct gap analysis of current business systems and architect/design solutions with business functions and global IT workstreams
- Lead the development of blueprint and scope documents, and test plans for proposed projects or process improvements
- Researching, identifying and making recommendations of appropriate solutions for SAP WM to business requirements
- Provide ongoing BAU support by managing end user testing and confirming user acceptance of changes
- Update configuration as needed, working with developers to modify and test programs
What youll bring
- Essential experience with SAP WM and hand help technologies, with familiarity of Supply Chain business models
- Expertise in defining warehouse structure, WM related master data, transfer requirements, transfer order, Inbound and outbound process, storage types, storage section, storage bins, put away strategies, picking strategies, WM Movement types, batch management.
- Should be familiar with material handling systems and how to integrate them to SAP WM solutions.
- Knowledge in Extended Warehouse Management systems will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 full life-cycle WM implementations of SAP – must include requirements gathering, blueprinting, SAP configuration and functional testing.
- Knowledge and understanding on other SAP Modules -MM/PP/SD is highly regarded.
- 4 years experience in production support environment required.
- Strong Functional working knowledge of SAP Modules and Configuration
- Ability to read, analyse and debug the programs
