About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Sales Manager your primary purpose as the Internal Sales Account Manager will be to look after the needs of smaller Holcim and Excel customers, through pricing activities, invoicing reviews, advocating within Holcim for their needs and for investigating and resolving disputes. You will also assist the sales team (Account Managers and Key Account Managers) with the investigation, reconciliation and collection of amounts from particular customer segments, such as residential housebuilders.
Further and detailed accountabilities are found in the Position description which is available upon request and will include:
- Supporting the sales team with activities for particular accounts such as large residential housebuilders (reconciliations, invoice correction, purchase order matching).
- Developing and maintaining a structured customer contact plan for account managers (in line with allocated budget targets.
- Accompanying account managers on a regular basis to visit customers.
- Developing and maintaining a structured customer contact plan for major accounts in line with the market participant plans.
- Identifying appropriate new business opportunities and/or projects within the business and ensuring these are maintained in SFDC.
- Reviewing dormant and/or lost customers and ensuring plans are in place with account managers to re-engage where and when appropriate.
- Actively participate and lead process improvement
- Building and maintaining working relationships with all key stakeholders.
- Provide support with Data Analytics
About you:
To succeed, you may come from a similar Internal Sales or Inside Sales role and/ or have customer service or administrative experience in any relatable field. A degree in business or a related discipline would be highly regarded and experience within the Concrete, Aggregates, Industrial manufacturing or related sectors will be an advantage, but your success will be determined as much by your motivation, professionalism, energy and superior communication skills as by your career background.
