As an Account Manager – Inside Sales based at our Auckland head office, you’ll drive sales and revenue growth for the business. You’ll be responsible for developing and nurturing new and existing relationships, managing a portfolio of customers, and expanding our share of their business. Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Management: Effectively manage and grow an existing portfolio of customers.
  • Customer Relations: Resolve customer issues promptly and maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Call Cycle: Establish and maintain an optimized call cycle to ensure consistent customer contact.
  • CRM Management: Keep all customer profiles updated in the CRM system, including contact names, addresses, service requirements, and more.
  • Revenue Management: Ensure revenue rates, billing details, and contractual arrangements are accurate and up to date.
  • New Business Development: Maintain a robust pipeline to replace any lost revenue swiftly.
  • Rate Reviews: Manage annual rate reviews, ensuring timely customer engagement and implementation.
  • Internal Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with management, operational staff, and drivers.

If you are a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with a strong passion for sales and a customer centric mindset with the ability to influence others in sound judgment and decision-making then this role is for you.

Additionally, you will have:

  • Experience: Proven experience in account management is essential, with transport and logistics industry experience preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret information accurately.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong organizational abilities.
  • Customer Service: A customer-first mindset with the ability to establish rapport and build relationships at multiple levels within a customer’s organisation.
  • Pressure Management: Thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel under pressure.
