We are seeking an enthusiastic and technically minded Industrial Sales Representative to join our client’s Epping branch. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 8:00am4:15pm, ideal for a recent university graduate looking to launch their career in industrial sales.
The successful candidate will need to be available to commence on 5th January . As part of the team, youll enjoy on-site parking, a company laptop, and a clear, supported pathway to progressing into an Account Manager role.
In this position, you will work closely with the branch team to build strong customer relationships, support day-to-day sales operations, and deliver value-added industrial solutions to clients across the commercial and industrial sectors.

In this position, you will work closely with the branch team to build strong customer relationships, support day-to-day sales operations, and deliver value-added industrial solutions to clients across the commercial and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective customers through proactive communication.
- Identify and secure new B2B sales opportunities through networking, outreach, and market engagement.
- Prepare accurate job quotes in line with company guidelines, including pricing, take-offs, material specifications, and cost estimating.
- Support improvements in vendor relationships and sourcing efficiency.
- Assist with customer service activities including inside sales, inquiry responses, and proposal follow-ups.
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, manufacturing, and technical teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and high customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of job tracking systems and customer management reports.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding order progress and key milestones.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders to manage shipments in line with project delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records across CRM and ERP systems.
- Provide insights on market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- Ideally suited to recent university graduates or early-career sales professionals.
- Experience or exposure to sales, business development, or customer-facing roles (preferred but not essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and CRM systems.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to produce accurate reporting and documentation.
- Willingness to assist with day-to-day branch sales operations.
- Effective negotiation and influencing skills.
- Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
- Ability to safely lift up to 15 kg and undertake moderate physical activity.
