The Opportunity
MIGAS, in partnership with Shell QGC, is offering a unique opportunity for First Nations people to join our Indigenous Development Traineeship program.
This 12-month traineeship is designed to support your career journey, help you build new skills, and open doors to future apprenticeships and employment in the energy industry.
- Paid traineeship with hands-on experience at Shell QGC
- Enrolment in a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate II in Process Plant Operations or Certificate II in Engineering)
- A clear pathway to an apprenticeship that matches your skills and interests
- Broad exposure to different areas of Shell QGCs business
- Supportive First Nations mentors and a culturally safe and inclusive workplace
About You
We strongly encourage First Nations people who have connections to Country where QGC operates to apply.
These Traditional Owner groups are: Bailai, Barunggam, Bigambul, Cobble Cobble, Jarowair, Gangalou, Gooreng Gooreng, Gurang, Iman, Mandandanji, Taribelang Bunda, Warrabal, Wakka Wakka, Western Wakka Wakka, and Yiman.
