HV Boilermaker
Are you enthusiastic about safety and looking for a permanent full time position as an Open Pit HV Boilermaker with 3-5 years experience with pumps, pipefitting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics? Ravenswood Gold want to hear from you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- As an Open Pit HV Boilermaker you will be part of a passionate team working a lifestyle DIDO roster, 8:6 days; 7:7 nights.
- Examine excavator buckets, truck bodies daily for work scope on planned down days, including gathering material, equipment, and consumables.
- Must have good verbal/written communication skills.
- General fitting and turning, including welding and brazing
- Carry out major mechanical overhauls, refurbishments & repairs to equipment
- Able to take and record accurate measurements using precision measuring instruments and check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies
- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools and welding equipment
- Adhere to all Health, Safety and Environment standards and policies
ABOUT YOU
- An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential.
- Self-managing with strong decision-making skills
- Experience with Integrated systems and Microsoft Office applications, or similar
- At least 3-5 years of experience with pumps, pipefitting, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics working on a mine site.
- Proven skills in diagnosis/problem solving, innovation, project implementation and tracking.
- Manual C Class drivers licence
- Relevant Trade Qualification Boilermaker
- Must live within a 200km radius of mine site critical
- Experience in positional/ structural welding
- Experience as a site boilermaker and advanced tickets (advantageous)
- Have strong welding experience with large excavator buckets and rigid truck bodys (GMAW & FCAW)
- Field service maintenance of heavy mobile and fixed plant
