About the Business

With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol, and sustainable agricultural products.

To be more specific, Wilmar manufactures over half of Australia’s raw sugar, and each year exports enough electricity to power more than 68,000 Australian homes for 12 months.  As well as supplying ethanol (ethyl alcohol) to the growing fuel market in Australia, Wilmar also supplies a significant market share to various industries including the pharmaceutical, printing, cleaning, winery, aerosol, animal health and food and beverage industries.

The Role

We have two available positions in our HR team! If you’re eager to dive into the world of Human Resources as an Administrator, this role is your perfect chance. It is ideal for those who thrive on interacting with people in a bustling, fast-paced setting. Don’t worry if you are a newcomer – we’ve got your training covered!

These positions are designed for individuals who are self-motivated and excel with limited supervision. While the roles encompass various HR activities associated with the people aspect of our business, the main emphasis will be on effectively managing site recruitment activities and providing regional payroll support through Kronos.

Something about you

The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates high computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word within the Microsoft Office suite. Your expertise spans the full spectrum of recruitment activities, possess a valid Driver’s License, and showcase proficiency in using integrated systems. Additionally, a willingness and ability to learn through new experiences is desirable.
