Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced HR Driver to join our team at our Launceston facility. This role is critical for managing our HR driving operations and performing manual handling work.
Shift: Mon, Thu – Sun
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate HR vehicles for transportation of goods.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items.
- Ensure all goods are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage.
- Adhere to safety standards and protocols at all times.
- Conduct routine checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, shipments, and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid HR driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and manual handling techniques.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics or transportation industry is highly desirable.
