Programmed Training Services in partnership with VISY Logistics has exciting opportunities for passionate, driven, and enthusiastic individuals ready to hit the road and embark on an exciting career journey in the transport industry.  

What We Offer: 

  • Commencing in January in Smithfield, NSW
  • Working day shift rostered 8-12 hours per day
  • HR License
  • Nationally Recognised qualification in Certificate III in Driving Operations.
  • 12-month program
  • 4 weeks annual leave per annum

About The Role:

The delivery work will be consistent of but not limited to:

  • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle allocated to them
  • Paperwork pertaining to the tasks they are conducting.
  • Adhering to all site safety regulations, NHVR regulations and NSW road rules
  • Deliveries to customer within a timely manner
  • Maintaining rapport with customers by providing excellent service
  • Notifying dispatch of any issues that may affect their deliveries or workload.
  • Handle yard work (strapping, moving trailers or rigids)
  • Work closely with the dispatch team

Requirements:

  • Full-time commitment of 38 hours per week
  • Hold a Full Drivers License
  • Provide Driving History
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical including Drug and Alcohol and National Heavy Vehicle Commercial Medical
  • Willingness to undergo a police check
  • Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency status
  • Positive attitude and commitment to safety
