What you will enjoy doing

  • Managing an Elgas business encompassing all aspects of day-to-day depot operations, transport, customer service, sales including distributor channels, profit growth and cost management, you will be directly accountable for businesses P&L
  • In addition, managing all aspects of safety within your business to ensure that all Elgas staff, contractors, drivers, customers and assets are compliant and operated in a safe manner is a component of this position
  • Furthermore, you will be driving growth in your business across a variety of customer and market segments by identifying opportunities and creating strategies to improve volume and margin in creative and impactful ways
  • Delivering market leading service for our customers, you will ensure every customer’s touch point is a positive experience and Elgas deliver on our PSO in a safe and timely manner
  • You are responsibly for leading a diverse team of Elgas staff and contractors to deliver on all business objectives and to create a culture of safety, positivity, co-operation and high performance
  • Your behaviors demonstrate clear accountability for business performance, a strong desire for growth and you continually identify opportunities to innovate and deliver productivity improvements
  • Daily monitoring and management of your business performance, monthly reporting to senior management and annual budgeting is key for this role

What makes you great

  • You are in possession of a Tertiary or Business qualifications (desirable)
  • In addition, you have strong experience managing a business and managing your own P&L
  • Your customer focused attitude and growth mindset means your are a strong leader with previous people management that can drive and develop a high performing team 
  • Solid computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office programs aid you in this role
  • Furthermore, you possess excellent oral and written communication skills
