An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our established HR team based at our Sunshine Coast Head Office. 

Reporting to the National HR & Organisation Development Manager, the HR Advisor will provide generalist support and advice to the business whilst partnering and advising the business leaders.

About the role:

  • Assist the National HR & Organisation Development Manager with management tasks such as: performance management and delivery of disciplinary actions, employee retention strategies, workover claims and general employee relations.
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks including letters, contracts, and other documentation.
  • Provide guidance on regulations and policies around labour relations.
  • Review and audit company policies.
  • Process and procedure development and improvement.

About you:

  • Bachelors degree or Diploma in Human Resources (desirable)
  • 2 years experience in a similar HR role
  • A demonstrated knowledge of Australian employment law
  • Superior interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to analyse and problem solve.
  • Leadership mentality with ability to coach and mentor.
