The Position:
Our Rosebud workshop is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to support our current team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in ensuring we maintain a safe and reliable fleet
- General services in oil, filter and brake changes
- Fulfilling preventative maintenance schedules
- Diagnosing and repairs to buses
- Test driving of vehicles to diagnose malfunctions
- Minor to major engine repairs
Essential Criteria:
- Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Trade Qualification)
- Completed a 4 year apprenticeship
- Experience working with trucks or buses
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to follow instructions
- High regard for safety
- Ability to handle pressure
- Current MR or HR licence (not essential)
