Our Knoxfield WOrkshop has decades of experience and a well maintainted large workshop waiting for the next mechanic to join us on our journey to zero emissions buses.
The Position:
This is a dynamic work environment offering opportunity for development, training and career progression. You will work with a diverse team of highly qualifield mechanics who are some of the best in the business.
Our Heavy Vehicle Mechanics perform tasks including:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related vehicle systems
- Diagnosis of mechanical issues using diagnostic equipment and tools
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability
- Repairing or replacing faulty parts, components, and systems
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks and high standards of service
Heavy Vehicle Mechanics will require:
- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Trade Qualification)
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic, particularly with buses or heavy vehicles.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work undr pressure and follow procedures and instruction
- Valid driver’s license; MR or HR licence highly desirable
