We currently have a full time Mechanic position available at our Croydon workshop.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in ensuring we maintain a safe and reliable fleet
  • Fulfilling preventative maintenance schedules, such as oil checks and filtering
  • Diagnosing and repairs to buses
  • Test driving of vehicles to diagnose malfunctions
  • Complete safety inspections, Road Safety Inspections (RSI) annually & Vehicle Safety Inspections (VSI) every 3 months
  • Enter and rectify any defects
  • Complete any engine work and repairs when required
  • Conducting transmission replacements & repairs
  • Render assistance with on road breakdowns

Essential Criteria:

  • Complete relevant apprenticeship
  • Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent Trade Qualification)
  • Heavy Vehicle experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Current MR or HR licence (not essential)
  • To work in a fast paced environment and to meet deadlines
  • Positive and can do attitude
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Must have full working rights to work in Australia.
