Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategically study & define which tenders to pursue and where the best opportunities lie
  • Focus on developing relationships within core markets: Government, Marine, Mining, Oil & Gas, Utilities & Defence
  • Engage with a diverse range of external stakeholders including Procurement, Technology teams, Heads of Operations, Fleet Managers
  • Responsible for conducting in-depth account reviews, identifying quick wins and strategic opportunities
  • Set and drive KPI expectations for the experienced sales team
  • Evaluate the competitor landscape and understand comparative technology offerings
  • Leadership style: the existing team is relatively self-sufficient – a supportive and hands-off approach to develop a vision & shared goal for the team
  • Oversight and management of credit control
  • The ability to work with partners to ensure a mutually beneficial and sustainable partnership
  • Build deeper engagement with customers, and explore whether AST can deliver new, complementary technologies for mutual benefit.
